I conduct Victorian-style tea parties for girls ages 8 & up, where they dress in gowns with hoop skirts, feathered hats and old-style fans. The girls are served tea from silver tea pots on fine china. Each party includes a formal presentation of each costumed guest, Victorian tea etiquette presentation and old-style dancing. For younger girls, ages 4 to 6, I offer a dress-up party where guests get to "accessorize" their look with lacy shawls, hats, beads, bracelets, purses and white gloves. Victorian Adventures also offers historic day camp each summer, for girls ages 8 to 12, with one week for teen-agers. Two camp themes are offered: Victorian (1800s) and Colonial (1700s). I also offer school field trips with these two themes. All Victorian Adventures activities are held in a turn-of-the-century house called Southern Oaks. In addition to parties, camp, and school programs for kids, Victorian Adventures also offers ladies teas and luncheons, and rents Southern Oaks for special events. Michele Cox, Manager
